First thing that meets the viewer: the eyes. I am stunned that you time after time create faces containing such a mix of emotions, faces that touch the heart, faces with eyes that follow you wherever you are in the room. After that all the fascinating and puzzling details, which all seem essential, and gives birth to many different stories. I am totally captivated, as always in front of your works.

Bev, when I view your artwork, I am so moved. I don't try to figure out what it means, mostly because what I see is mostly from within myself. I just love looking at each object or lifeform within it and the fine details. Then I marvel at your technique and ability to get every ounce out of your tools. After that, well, I wish I could paint with your creativity and skill. You are the best!

Can I just say "gaaaaaaaahhhhhh" again? The WIP you sent to Cass a few days back blew me away with its purity of light - the tones of her face perfectly reflected the room on the left for me, all whitewashed walls and crisp white sheets - and now you've developed the work further still, colouring in the snail shell etc. As always your latest is a wonder to behold and that's just on the technical side, for its deeper essence requires time to soak up and comprehend. Brilliant again my friend, just brilliant hugest hugs :-D

You have me dumbfounded again "Gahhhhhh" is about all I can muster verbally, yet this masterpiece hits so deeply, words could never express the magnitude of what I see within. Thank you so very, very much for being you, an inspiration to me in every way hugest hugs.

Excellent IS n understatement! :-) I haven't seen anybody painting Textures as well as you do, Bev! The sheet is fabric, tactile fabric; the shell is as hard as it can be!, the paper is definitely normal paper, and the skin is soft. I'd really love to touch everything there. If I dared... :-) --- In your art the technical skills serve admiringly the deep soul of your art. This allegory is something so personal, and at the same time universal; a wise woman carrying the heaviest possible burden, the history of our world. Those who know it, carry it - you can't choose to do it. She's a seer, we might say she's gifted, she sometimes thinks she's cursed with this gift. Because she can't live without seeing she gets even more decisive, and also angry. She tries to hide from our sight, but she's always there, she sees, she is seen. by everybody who wishes to do that. She carries the whole history because without it there's no future. It's her lecacy to all of us, to all generations after us. Sorry, Bev, your art always makes my thoughts running wildly. Thank you so much for this Master Piece, thanks for sharing it with us. :-)
