Description

OK, I know it's almost Christmas, but I just joined Renderosity a few days ago and I'm playing catch-up. This image won the Halloween contest over at Ashundar this past October. It's a mix of a number of elements because any and all post work was allowed for this particular contest. The foundation of the image is Terragen...that is, the main terrain, sky and clouds. The moon is from Vue 5 Infinite. The foreground grass and trees were made in Maya using Maya Paint Effects. The "Headless Horseman" is a screen cap matted in in Photoshop and the ground fog is Photoshop as well. The whole mish-mash was then composited in Photoshop. Oh my.. This is a superbly composed scene and excellent in all respects, and i particularly like the lighting and resulting mood. I can see why it won! One of my favorite stories and a marvelous representation.

Okay... I dont like to comment on images that has a lot of comments already, but this one is so good, no, so stunningly excellent that I couldnt help myself! It's very beatiful! The moon, the clouds, everything fits so perfectly thogether! Well, loved it!
