Description
Further tweaks today has decreased the exposure time to less than 1/30,000th of a sec. where I found this lonely creature.
The stem is twisted. I had hope using 2 colours I may have been able to get a streak on that to show it more but the coloured drop (red) reforms having previously dispersed when it hits the surface of the liquid.
Many thanks for your viewing & comments
Richard.

Dunno about paint but I remember of water that the surface tension causes a falling drop to be bounced back in its entirety before it will fall back again and eventually dissolve in the rest of the water. You might even experiment with petrol and a little iodine added to it, and dropping down water with iodine in it (dissolved ioding has different colors in those liquids) - oh boy, I feel myself the little boy experimenting again! Yay! Fabulous work! 1/30,000 sec!? Incredibly short, must be quite cam you use! :)

I don't usually like repeated series but this is truly fascinating and very entertaining. Have you posted in the forum yet saying what your technique is?
