Description

Glencoe is often in thick cloud and the dark light in the glen helps add to the menace of the place. The paths up to the higher tops seem to disappear vertically up into the gloom and are not inviting at all. But theres always the slim chance, just a slim one, that you can get above the low cloud and up into clearer air where the tops stick out above the mist like islands and the sky is so blue its almost black overhead. And theres always the fat chance that you'll slog away all day, see nothing, and be rewarded with a damp cheese sandwich for your efforts. Hmpht

WHOA!!! that is stunning, it's like a place where you'd find a dragon flying through the clouds, or some magical creature, i've missed your beautifull shots of Scotland, thats kind of strange, been away and the 1 day i'm able to post a comment, you post glencoe, thanks for going all the way up there,because this is truely amazeing shot bravo!!!!(V)!!!!!!:0)@-}--

All those times covered in the clouds but only once being above the sea of clouds as on an inhabited island, that experience against the contrasting background of all those dull vista's, isn't that worth the efforts!? Here speaks the mountain-lover! :) Wonderful work, Anthony!
