Photograph made with my Nikon D70S and a Tamron lens 18-200 mm. No Postwork, just frame with Photoshop 7

Sorry to haven't post any photography since several days..... But I was very busy, and can't find the time to work on my photographies.... Today I came back with a portrait, of a wonderful old woman. I don't know her name... She is about 80 years old and live making baskets in bamboo. But not for tourists... she work and sell at the market of Tapsai, the village near where I lived for 10 days in the forest. With her I learn to make baskets for one day. But not only the final part, I go with her son in the forest to cut the right bamboo, and then we do all, cuting the bamboo in small plates, and then all the part of braiding and final assembly. It was really funny and very interesting to work with her. I will show to you the final result later, at the end of my series. Unfortunately I do not know her name, she said it to me... but I don't understand it.... Sorry ! She spoke only one Thai dialect and me English... but we understood the essential things, but not for the details. In any case she is superb, radiant and adorable, and she has the most beautiful smile I never seen ! Thank you so much for all your kind comments on my previous post : "Little Lizard in Thailand...". such a wonderful and touching portrait of her with a charming smile! there also is a stunning expression of life and experiance, wisdom and a knowledge about the last path she has to go! ;o)))
