Description

Here goes: I never want to even look at a Mig 3. Ever, ever again :) Anyway, I haven't "touched" the Mig 3 "family" in a long time and errr...lost interest. Here's the final, earlier version, aka "short nose" I had modeled the control surfaces (fabric over steel-frame), full landing gear, finaly was happy with the air intakes ( the supercharger intake is built in one piece, bottom-fuselage + wing root),etc. It will now quietly disapear into the night...

Ah but could you make a nice flying render, or even a dogfight. PLEASE

This is an excelent modelling work, but where are the textures? Red horizontal stripes across fuselage, red stars, etc... It will make him much beautifull. This is one of the most beautifull ww2 birds.

hey, there's always Yakovlev and Tupelov..;) Always wondered what the Mig 1 looked like..;) And in those days, the 'firing' was done with a PPSh..:|

Very nice work. I wouldn't worry about textures, because a hell of a lot of work went into just getting this far. Excellent.

You did it. You made it look like every other MIG 3 that ever came out of an OKB! Congrwatulations! Not a loose cannon anywhere! This is a lot of night sweat and eyestrain. Tovarish, this is your lucky day!

My God, you make some beautiful planes. And the good thing with no texture, is that it brings the model out to us.

Great! And don't forget: in addition to the Yak and Tu planes, you can always pay a tribute to Su (Sukhoi)! :-) Everybody BUT the author will enjoy them! :-))
