Description
Just taking a short break from building guns as I realized I had never done a decent knife. Here it is. And don't worry. The gunshop will open again soon. ;)
Comments welcome.
EDIT: I followed some of the comments and uploaded a revised version of the design (handle turned, serrations turned forward), along with the original version for comparision.

Wow! Kickass design. Sleek and deadly. Just one thing: Sure it looks pretty cool with the backbent sawteeth, but as it is it's a pullsaw. Make it a pushsaw and there won't be issues with the blade getting stuck in bones and ribs when you try pulling it out someones body. Thus bending the sawteeth forward instead of backward would make it much more deadly and practical. :) VOTE

Good point. Thanks! I will see how it looks. :)

I really like what you've done with the serrations on the blade; unorthodox, but interesting! A couple of practical points, if I may: (1) the teeth on the spine of the blade will not cut much, as they have no edge (front or back). They 'might' work to 'catch' an opponent's blade in a knife brawl, but that is about the limit of their practicality, as drawn. (2) Re: ergonomics, the bushing immediately behind the guard should be rotated 180 degrees; this would improve the user's grip on this weapon. Overall, a very cool design!

Thanks. I made some changes, as you can see above.
ShellShock
I like the first version better. Looks more straightforward and aggressive, if you know what I mean. Looks over substance!
VOID
I agree. I like the original shape more. One of the classic cases where design stands versus functionality, I suppose. g
Schokohase
I agree with ShellShock. I like the old version better. I don't know really why, but there's SOMETHING. If I'm able to figure it out, I'll tell you

I think it's the direction the lines point in. In the old version they point towards the tip, thus stretching the blade optically and giving it a forward thrusting look. The lines in the second version point backwards, thus eliminating the impression of movement.

While Sluggy might have a point about the saw-thing I have to agree with ShellShock and Schokohase: the old Version really looks better.

Old blade as back facing saw slides the ounds better and makes the mess on the way out, with the new handle as the pointer finger needs to be forward and have grip too. All in all excellent combat knives :)
Isoline
Wow. That looks like it could cause a mighty severe OUCHIE!

Awesome Design.. Ever try making one with a bloodgroove? I love the metal texture as well. Did you use a displacement map to get the serations the way you want them?
VOID
The serations are all geometry. The textures are all SLA shaders.
