Does this show the neck and cockpit of the ship? If so, it doesn't look right. I believe that the cockpit is higher up. I think.

Actually, it doesn't go up as much as you'd think. I checked loads of reference material for this part. Don't forget these images are not side views.

Superb! I have the greatest respect for anyone who puts so much time and effort into constructing such detailed models. I can't wait for the finished article.

Thanks guys. Well, the poly count is 305,919: Triangles are 504,086. Time spent: guestimate about 20-25 hours, so far...

Fantastic. The way the advanced lighting falls on the white surface makes it look like a paper-model :D The only thing Id surgest as far as the ship: Purhapes a bit too perfect? It looks like a brand new firefly at the moment, rather then Serenity which has had just a little ware and tear. Obviously Textures will deal with most of it, but some nice dents and cuts here and there in the mesh would help too :)

DarkFlame, this is my first proper high detail model and you want me to scratch it? lol. No chance mate. The materials, should I create any (as I have no idea how to), will show the wear and tear of space debris etc... But I'm not putting any dents in it LMAO.

I'd swear you just started this thing yesterday. :) You've acomplished so much over a short span of time. What ever level you thought your were at, think again. This falls under exponential growth as a modeler. :)

good on ya..the neck always gave me fits anyway..I can sympathise about the reference pics..you start to notice that from season to season (well, not in this case..;) they 'play around' with details..man, I can imagine how many polys this puppy must be up to by now..;) almost there..keep with it..

This is a very impressive, detal and complex model. Its going to look even realistic with all the texture apply. Excellent work ")
