Another landscape as we always loved them... in Emilia Romagna, in a zone covered of Poplars, these marvellous and so poetic Trees. They are near the big river, the "Po" and protect the zone when the river is growing... It's marvelous to walk in these forest, with only Poplars... I love them !
I think there's nothing to add... just look at this landscape, and dream...

Toujours de superbes paysages d'italie, ici typique avec ces arbres si particuliers que l'on trouve au bord des routes, chez nous ce sont les platanes mais ils ont beaucoup moins de charme!

These are magnificent trees. They start ou so very small and in no time they are huge. I grew two of them in my back yard at our first house. Now when I drive by, I new where the house bu just looking at the horizon since they are the tallest ones around. I especially love them in the autumn when they turn gold and the setting light strikes them as the wind blows. This creates the look of million of golden coins shimmering in the light.
