Description

Fourth image in my Icons of Art series. Some books, a pink ribbon, and a salt shaker. Still Life art has always made use of iconography. Here is Rimbaud: French symbolist poet, Paul Rand: 1960's designer of corporate logos (IBM, GE, etc.), and M.C. Escher. Three point lighting, caustics and ambient occlusion. C5 beta. Thanks for looking and comments welcome

Very nice work. I love the glass shader on the salt shaker, and the prismatic effect it has on the light. The ribbon does seem a little long for the book, though, and too stiff. More like paper. Otherwise, great job, as always!
