Description

And so this is Christmas
And what have you done?
Another year over
And a new one just begun

A Merry Day Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

~John Lennon
(Edited 12/18/05 to comply with Renderosity's TOS)

For those of you who celebrate it, I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas! For those who do not, I wish you a wonderful holiday season... :)

UF with border and sig in PSP. (I'm thinking I should just get a macro key for that last sentence) Thanks so very much for "creeping down the stairs to have a peek... I thought that you were tucked up in your beds all fast asleep"... ;) Hugs! Helen :)

I've been thinking about John Lennon a lot lately, only a few days past December 8. This is a wonderful song to go with this image, the yearnings for peace and brotherhood that he spoke of are certainly part of the religious message of the holiday. The star shining here merges with the symbolism of the cross, radiating peace, love, and power throughout the world. Beautiful work, you always manage to outdo yourself and never cease to amaze.

This is exquisite. I love how you have conceptualized the cross, the star, the snow flake and the garland. That is how it speaks to me :)

how come I always seemed to know your sentiment about these things we can not openly discus anymore.. You are not only a great artist but a human being with a huge heart and so much inner peace...Tell your husband he is a very lucky guy...
