Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

Yeah, I can certainly relate to this image and concept very well. I worked in radiolody in a trauma center for 7 years and it was certainly no cakewalk. After awhile you learn to adjust, keep calm, be efficient, and help not only the patients but the family members to cope. It is indeed a field that requires a great deal of patience and understanding. I hope your mother fares well and best wishes to you both! Excellent work!

I LIKE THE WAY YOUROLL WHAT YOU'RE THINKING/FEELING INTO YOUR ART. YOUR MOTHER MAY BE OLD, BUT SHE'S LUCKY.

This is a very striking scene, one of my favorites from you. I sincerely hope your mother is alright.

The picture captures the feeling you have when you have to go to the hospital a bit of fear and dread. Great render.

Yes, brings back a lot of memories and emotions for me. Two years ago, my mother--also 89 at the time--underwent a similar experience. I still miss her. Hope your mother fares better than mine did.

As a former OR nurse...EXCELLENTLY done! Wow....this is a true representation of todays' medical technology - and the aloneness the patient can feel, without caring, compassionate medical people. This is really a splendid render, full of feeling!!! KUDOS! Hope your mother is doing better. :-)

This brings back too many memories for me. I lost my mother 20 years ago but the feeling of helplessness and lose never goes away. Eleven years ago, I found myself in an emergency situation and had to be rushed to the hospital. After 6 days, and 1 major surgery, I was released. To this day, I have great difficulty seeing a doctor, or taking my kids to one. I hope your mother is doing much better and my prayers are with you and your family.

This is so like that scary wierd feeling when the ceiling looks like it's getting farther away but closer at the same time. That's very close to how it was for me on my hospital stay. I hope your mother gets better soon.

i agree with your every word... and the image conveys a feeling that you really do get when you don't know what's going on, whether it is you in that bed or someone you love. i hope your mother will feel better, at least she had 89 years of no doctors at all. :)

I have to tell you, when I saw this, the impact was like a slap in the face! This amazing image is so evocative! First of all, I hope your mom will be okay! Blessings to you both! This image is what art is all about, to me. To be able to span time and space, reach out and touch complete strangers and make them think and feel, experience emotions you have felt, to translate those emotions visually, now that is a gift, and takes talent! You have captured the sense of isolation, the helplessness we feel, as a patient, and as one who loves the person who is hospitalized. Also the sense of how fragile, how mortal we are and how delicate the balance of life is. We tend to feel at times invincible at times, and this also shows how vulnerable we are! This is such an awesome piece of art! Leann

I'm so sorry you and your mother had to go through that. You can have my Christmas wish to use for a speedy recovery and another memorable Christmas with her family and friends. You've lifted my spirits on so many occasions with your unique sense of humor. You deserve nothing less than the best Christmas ever. As to this image, it is quite startling, and very evocative. Great art should stir the soul, shake up the status quo. And this piece truly does just that.

My mother is in the hospital so much they know her by first name :) They will take good care of your mother and I have only seen compassion from the people working there. All my prayers.

Well done and well said, my friend. Best wishes for you and yours.

I've had relatives in the hospital before too, so I have some idea of how you were feeling. Nice job as usual on the pic, and best wishes to your mom!

Hubby had his appendix attack his sleep one evening, next thing I remember were all the hoses coming out of his body, yeah, that brings an incredible element of fear and well captured in your image. My heart goes out to you, we will all exprience this in one form or another, and what a grand reminder of how frail time is! (=

Always an element of truth in your imagery. Well done and may all be well for you and her!

Thats a pretty disturbing picture. Very well done - conveys real feeling of what it would be like at the first time.
