Description
Northern Japan, farm country, nothing to do but watch the rice grow. Once you are done doing that, you get to go hog wild and harvest it :)
Everywhere you drive you find endless rows of rice. Once it is time for the harvest, the farmers pile the rice into 'huts', leave it to dry for a while, then come back to pick it up.
Nikon FM3a, Tamron 300mm/2.8, Velvia 100.

Here the afternoon light was beyond belief; all I did to this photo was a bit of burning, specially on the mountains. If I decide to print this one, the sky might get a bit of "help".
