Description

My favorite little wasp defending his territory! I am pretty sure they are both males because of their face color and the fact that in one picture (the lighting wasn't as good in) one is chomping on the others wing. I was trying to get in flight photos but because of the overcast sky they came out too dark. Thank you for all of your much appreciated comments! Have a great Sunday evening! Ooh, wasps. Not a big fan due to being allergic. Although they are a very beautiful creature. Everything has a purpose, right? Awesome capture. I can actually enjot them this way!!!

That is an incredible shot!! One for the books! Are they drones? (Rarer) or workers? (Foragers/defenders). If they are drones, they are male and probably in competition? If they are workers, than they are most likey ladies, which would be strange for them to fight? Either way, you have a shot that belongs in a National Geo magazine about bugs!!! Awesome!!!
