I'm a color pencil artist originally. Some years ago I got the first Painter program called Dabbler. Didn't like it. I went on to get Bryce, then when Painter6 came out, I got that. Been in the digital world of art ever since. Been a member of Renderosity for quite a few years. It really is the best site there is. I believe. I'm a Clinical therapist in the mental health field by occupation. It pays the bills, but it doesn't fulfill the soul like my art. Still, I'm facinated with the "why" of the way people think, feel, and behave. The dynamics of the human condition is infinite, for good or ill.
I keep trying to improve my computer art skills through examples and pieces of other artists on Renderosity. Sometimes I feel like I want to run away and hide because I can't measure up to many of the other artists. Then, when I get comments as well as provide comments, I realize this is not about competition or competing, it's about learning and supporting each other to become better artists.
I also play music and was in a band for a number of years. Sold a song to a record company but nothing ever came of it. I even record my music on the computer now through a program called Cubase. Naively or otherwise, I see myself as a writer too. Trying to get the novel in my head onto paper. Genre? Fantasy/scifi of course.

More from the 31st century? Where are we this time. Detroit? Maybe Baltimore and this is a future version of the city on the bay? Love your art. Keep up the good work!

From seeing your work and your name I can't help but think you are the late Carlos Castaneda!!! Superbly vivid with a great style!!!

I saw this work a few minutes ago and didn't post. I just came across it again and noticed the title. Strange, but now it evokes strong feelings of loneliness and desolation. Love to see this on a science-fiction book-cover.

Wow!!!! This is a wonderful scene. Your technique is quite stunning I like the way you seem to have a very layered look and feel to this piece as if each object was panted on a seperate sheet of glass and then all the sheets of glass were placed one atop the other to make one unique and complete work of art ...VOTE...

Controlled use of Blue (mimiking haze) gives this cityscape a superb presence of scale. Try it without the figure in the foreground...Or reduce the size of the figure to give the cityscape more dominance.

I like this one very much. I'm curious about how you composited several pictures into one, I haven't figured that out yet. Great job!
