Well I finally decided to stop being lazy and write a little something about myself. LOL My passion is Daz Studio!! I used to be a professional soft tip dart player. I was on the first womens USA team!! I have two children who are challenging due to them being in their teens. The best part about being a member of this community is all the friends I have made here. Without all the support I have been given here due to my illness it has made all the difference in the world to me to get through it. Thanks for stopping to read my little bio! hugs, Shannon :}

Shannon, so glad for you that this medical problem was found and that a fix is available. It is a wonderful holiday gift to know you will now be on the mend and the B vitamins will prevent the condition. Best wishs for a return to normalcy in your life and health and for a bit of time every now and then to make your unique and fun art so we can all have fun viewing it! ~V~

Ive read the complete story you told us and im happy that you found a specialist who could help you, but its a pitty that youve lost yor job. Finding a good doctor can save lifes. Unfortunatly you never know if youve somebody who knows his job or a dilettante. Many of my relatives had suffered severe and avoidable illnesses caused by medics who didnt know, some had to pay it with their lifes. Thats why I dont trust them. To your art: Great work as always!

Wow Shannon, I need to go and get myself on some B12 & B1, because I've noticed a gradual building of those very symptoms in me, and I'm startled by what your test provided. Yes, certainly going to have to do that, have a doctors appointment Feb 7, will be mentioning this to have myself tested. The render - stunning, as usual! Yes I do love that elephant.

DL Greetings! Great news for you!!! We have friends who have had the bypass, I will have my wife pass that on. Great pic too. The elephant is terrific. I like the front girl, how she is looking off into the distance. Great job.

My daughter has the same thing. In her teens she became progressively moodier and clutzy, doing stupid things and seeming to lack common sense, and always pale and tired even though she was otherwise fit and ate healthy foods. Doctors generally attributed it to her hitting puberty and hormones (female problems are not uncommon in the women in my family - some have died in childbirth). She has also suffered from true migraine since very small, and this was also often seen as a factor in her strange behaviour and moods. Thankfully she was properly diagnosed and now goes for shots every 3 months. There has been a real improveent and she looks and feels soooooo much better. The scary thing is that something so simple will eventually lead to dementia. Thank goodnesss you discovered what it was before it was too late!

How brave of you to share this with the community and helpful too. I have had minor memory problems these last few years which I attributed to menopause onset. Maybe I should get tested as I have had other B12 deficiency symptoms such as leg cramps,etc.I live in a very small town and one day I became completely disoriented while driving downtown and could not recognize my surroundings or remember how to get home! I knew intellectually it was a silly thing that would pass so I just pulled over and waited. SCARY though.Some days the simplest words will just NOT come into my mind though I know I know them. I despise doctors though,lol,maybe I'll just try a supplement for a six week period and watch for improvement. But thanx again, I think you may have really helped me. Maeve

DLG~ Oh wow Shanno that is great news! I am seeing my doctor on the 25th and this will be one thing I will add to the list for her to check. I have been forgetting things more frequently, but just was chauking it up to getting older .. Maybe there is more to it than that.. Thank you for sharing! The image is wonderful by the way!!
