Description

Here is another background critter from my upcoming sequel to 'The Adventures of Nerm and BG' (www.cwanimation.com/animation.html). Kro is a eagle-sized bird for the film, and the victim of very un-creative naming =) Thanks for viewing.

Ultra-realistic render. Absolutely excellent. Probably your best one Ive seen thus far. But theres one problem: the interior of Kros mouth (you can rename him to Krogul, if you want;) looks unfinished. You probably wanted him to have something like birds mouth instead of teeth (too heavy for a flying creature?), but with his reptile-look it looks strange. Even for a bird mouth Id expect more details inside and more complex edge (some bumps, thicker edge, etc.). I had to put my 3 (Euro;)cents to your theme, its too good to be left untouched:)

The dof indicates you want to imitate a camera, not a real view with one's eyes, and the way you use it makes the objects appear to be quite small, nearly macro.

Hm, when Silgrim says it...he is probably right on the mouth but I understand that you don't have unlimited time/patience to play around; away from that minor problem the texturing is very well done and I looking forward to the animation.

As we have all come to expect from such an artist, this is excellent work. whilst i agree about the mouth texture, this is none the less impressive work and am also looking forward to seeing the finished animation.

Amazing render. My only suggestion would be to turn up the bump setting on the cobblestone ground texture. It seems a bit flat. Other than that, it's ILM quality.

yeah baby yeah! i think that you must do attention on the wing, it is distaccated from the back gound, if i can say you one thing i use at last more dof on that part of levels, my english is silly ok ok..... eh eh eh excellent anyway

I just clicked thru 36 pages of thumbnails (images submitted dec. 20, 2005) and this one is several orders of magnitude better than all the others IMVHO
