Christmas Trilogy
1975 Two days before Christmas
Jemima had been contemplating movement.
The snow that drifted in from the east came in ever increasing waves, delicate snowflakes billowing as they fell like leaves.
The fire crackled and the room was filled with the scent of pine, to Jemima, even the presents under the tree smelled of Christmas, and now, just two days away from the big event, she was getting ever more restless and agitated, two days, to a 9 year old, that was an absolute lifetime, a fact she was not going to let her parents forget.
Peter, her boring and spoilt, at least in Jemima

I really like reading this kind of stories at this time of year, makes me think back of a lot of people I miss at Christmass time and it's a good time of year to think about them, thank you.
