Description

Okay this is one of my more ambitious projects. This also severely tested the limits of my machine. Here we see the interior of one of the 10 ALB or (Armor Launch Bays), aboard the Sparrowhawk class Attack Cruiser "Nightmare". Nightmare is an older ship and one of the first ever to be built. She is completely updated though, including the "Tiendra" (Tiger) class Heavy A-Grav Tank. This launch bay is similar to one of the ships normal fighter launch bays but is modified to launch these deadly fighting vehicles in support of planetside actions. The tanks themselves sport the latest in ground attack and anti arial defense weaponry. They are capable of limited flight which allows the to go over most obstacles they cannot go through; and there are precious few things these vehicles cannot go through. Normally in the bay there will be three tanks in the forward launch position while three more wait at the Ready Line position near the rear of the bay, above the loading hatches. The tanks operate in triads with three tanks to a triad and three triads to a squadron. Above the launchers in the bay you can see the massive cranes and gantry used to move the tanks around the bay if necessary to clear damaged or malfunctioning tanks. Each tank has a crew of 8; and are capable of dealing with just about any threat that could be found in even the most dangerous combat area. Modeled, Skinned and Rendered in C4. No post work other than resizing. I was going to add some turbulence to the lighting to give it a more misty effect but my CPU can't handle it. Let me know what you think.

Boom Boom is the personal tank of the rather eccentric captain of nightmare. She sometimes likes to go down into the thick of it with the tank crews.
