The words struck me in the chest like an axe. I've almost been there with my beloved intubated in a coma for a month.. The healing takes time, for all involved. Very cool effect, btw.. :)

Especially around this time of the year we remember people we know, knew and -sometimes- lost. Your image really points the feeling of "gone lost", a destroid soul. Some B/W effects mixed with the colours could another idea, but this is only a matter of taste :)

yes.. something about being able to shatter an image virtually but the nice thing is it can be put back together without tape :]

Wow! That's a filter?! I better look into PS a little closer. Great image! And by the way, I really have been there and this is exaclty how it feels. It took me fifteen years to put the pieces back together. Excellent work!
