Description

I wanted this winter scene to have a hazy, dreamy, soft look to it. On very cold winter days here in Alaska, the light levels are so low on the shortest days, that everything sort of blends into everything else, without much definition...This gives our surroundings an almost surreal dream-like quality!! Of course the days are very short...only about 5+ hours of light! The effects are all done in Bryce 5, with no filters applied in other programs, to get the dreamy look. Slight post in Photopaint to sharpen. 15 hours to render in Bryce 5. I used 15 terrains for this one and 18 trees all done in Bryce 5. A simple image but a lot of work. :-) Many thanks to everyone who viewed, and commented/voted for "Christmas In Alaska's Bush". Your repsonse was overwhelming and very much appreciated!! May your Christmas be bright and your New Year exceed your dreams...Peace. :-)
