BIOI am a Florida native, I grew up in a Mayo, Florida on a tobacco, chicken and watermelon farm. I am 32 and currently enrolled at the University of South Florida, studying to become an Industrial Engineer. My great-great grandfather was one of the first photographers in Florida. I use a Canon 40D and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30. I enjoy nature photography and macro photography.

The content of the photograph is what counts the most! All that other stuff is just like icing on the cake, which can get too sweet at times and distracting...I love the decorated pelican, beats the heck out of plastic flamingos!

Very nice. So sorry you can't have a white Christmas over where you are! But then who does these days, what with global warming? We've been having sunny days around Christmas time, now it's snowing and it's going to get worse. Happy Christmas, and we wish we were there in Florida!
