Dear friend, dear Nina, As I read your words, I felt my heart sink. Loosing a love one, especially ones connection for being here in this world is painful. No amount of words of mine can make the hurt any less painful, especially for this time of the season, as if passage to another world would be any easier at another time of the year. For now take comfort in having been there at his last moment for you, but also look upon it that the real journey for him has only begun. He will always be close to you, he will always be in your heart. The memories you have of him and of the two of you together, is the treasure he leaves you with and no one can ever take that away. In the next months you will do things that remind you of him and how he did it and now that habit has been passed along in you. So a part of him is alive in you. In the things you do, while you are also being yourself. Please except our deepest condolences for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. I know your other family members and Christian are by your side, but if you need to talk to someone who has lost both his parents, I am here for you too. Egmont
