Description

La Palma (6) ""Red"" Caldera Martin. At the edge of one of the two craters from the Red Vulcan Martin, on the cannary Island La Palma, in the Atlantic Ocean. Latest eruption was in 1646. From the edge you have a view on the "Fuente del Fuego" decorated by pine trees. The cave is formed during the eruption and now-a-days used as shelter by shepperds, We reached this spot after a long 2 1/2 hours fantastic walk bridging an difference in altitude of 900 meters. Have a nice evening Henk
