Description

Well RR friends. Tonight is the night that the big guy makes his all important rounds. Now when I lived in Florida I knew he couldn't use his reindeer due to the lack of snow, high humidity, hurricane destruction, and no chimneys on most houses(boy, it's a wonder he ever came to Florida). Well, I kind of pictured Santa using what's available in each state to help him pull his sled through the night sky. One of the most abundant animals in Florida besides the mosquito is the pelican. Last Christmas, I had to check my theory out. I camped out on the beach Christmas Eve. Set up my camera and waited. Somewhere's around midnight I heard this gingling noise. I looked out over the ocean and sure enough, there he was with his sleigh and a few really big pelicans ahead of him. I just had enough time to take the one picture that you see here tonight. When I loaded the pic on my computer I noticed the lead pelican had a red glowing nose...who would have thunk it? A red nosed pelican. It's amazing what that man can do....Merry Christmas everyone.

Ha , cute idea. You always have something new up your sleve. I am a bit worried tho, that sky color can't mean anything good and and it looks like Florida is vieing for the title of "New Land of the Midnight Sun" lol. Merry Christmans to you and yours.

Ciao Ray !!!! You're going to way for the Pe Noel (the big Guy...) tonight on the beach ???? Great idea !!!! I'm going to do the same outside, on our terrace... and I hope he'll coming, I've got something very important to tell him !!! But if I don't seen him tonight.... I'll going to see him in february in his house in Finland with a friend and his daughter. I let him something to eat, and a bottle of Whisky of Giancarlo on the table, near our Christmas Tree... maybe he'll drink with me ? Thank you for this funny and lovely shot of Christmas Ray, and for what you've write in your last comment... I love you too my friend ! (in the same way of course ;o))))) Have a magical Christmas. Hugs.
