The 2nd in my power series for my dear friend Aluc Kain.
We all have the power within ourselves, all we need to do is draw it from within.

I stand here, perfectly still
a picture of concentration.
furrowed brow beaded with sweat,
as I feel it begin.
It draws from my toes
through the concourse of veins.
quicker than blood.
stronger than adrenaline.
Surging ever upwards
from deep within,
a tidal wave of pure energy
crackling with intensity.
I gather it up in my hands
as it flows all around me
showing by example
what your true potential is.

I love the use of the glass platform in this piece. I can feel the crackling of the energy, not just see it. If we could see the power in ourselves visualized in this manner, more of us would reach enlightenment. I love the graphics and the color scheme. Excellent, powerful image.
