Description

When I was in the Army, I spent all 3 years as part of 4/64 Armor (a.k.a. Tuskers). Finally after all these years I started working on a tank picture. In the process I started to think about what that unit contributed over the years to the modern military, and one fact stood out. It wasn't a glorious battle or campaign. 64th Armor is a direct descendant of the 758th Tank Battallion, which was the first armor unit in history to be organized with black soldiers. This is my tribute to them. Credits: M1A1 tank from 3DCafe, DAZ's Michael and Flattop hair, Catharine Harders DJ texture.
