Description
I decided to upload this image before I throw my computer out the window and jump after it. The HDRI illumination creates these weird render artifacts at the edge of the two lower cups. I've been tuning the render settings for two days now and I give up for now. Hence the weird cropping. :)
I'll be working on it some more, so hopefully I'll post a final soon.
Take care,
Sabra

Love the lighting in TRUE HDRI,not that stuff Vue provides, but this stuff.Really nice. This material looks like Porcelin or ceramic,or some other fired material:P Sweet work girl.

Well done at least on the upper part. I am just beginning exploring this HDRI thingy. Looks like you got a pretty good head start....:)

I can imagine your frustration. Nevertheless: still a great image! Greetz, Tjeerd.

Be your worst critic! and when the real critic comes, you'll be ready. Is the negative space of the upper cup creating relect confusion? Totally believable to the untrained eye.

Not weird.. let's call it art. There seems to be a wide gap between "art" and technology sometimes.

Wow! Looks very real!

What is this supposed to be? Is this some kind of artwork? If that's true, then it's not interesting artwork. I would love to see some Coffee grinders artwork, and I won't ask you, since you don't have a lot of skill to do art.
