I think you'd be better off if you didn't try for composites. Pick one--either close up or long shot--and just stay with that one. That way, you can focus on the composition of the piece. And lose the fog...it really is very distracting. Work on attaining "real" flesh tones instead of leaving the plasticine feel to the skin. The hair looks rather like a wig. Maybe some stray wisps would help that be more realistic. This one has a lot of promise.
