Description

Last week I've bought some new toys for the serious photographer such as an extreme wide angle lens which I used many times, two examples of the photos are already in my RR album. The second object was a converter that extends my telelens 1.7 times. Today I took photos with the tele in combination with the converter for the very first time and this is one of the many results. It looks like this beautiful Siberian tiger was on it's way to have a nap in my lap.. lucky me.. in fact he was at least 60 meters.. say 200 feet away from me....big relief. Oh.. BTW.. this photo has not been taken in the wild but in a zoo where it looks as the animals live in the wild. For the ones who care.. it is the Beekse Bergen.

Wonderful capture of this kitten! :) Problem with teleconverters might be you lose quality (my 2 X TC does that with 300 mm as well, unfortunately), as this one looks less sharp as other captures. But you've quite some nice toys now! Wonderful work, Oskar! :)
