I think this is beautiful, and it is indeed braided! I love all the colors you've worked into it. I can't seem to do that in my images! I like the black hole in the center, too. I forget what an integral part of a fractal the "lake" can be and I always boost the interations and fill in the lake in mine. Not always the best move! Thanks for posting this one!
