Description

Browsing through my files this morning, I ran across this image that I put together a couple of months ago, but never got around to posting. I tried to recreate the same kind of visual effects as the original Star Trek episode, "The Tholian Web," including the rather grainy and somewhat oversaturated aspect of the TV broadcast. Since I didn't happen to have an Enterprise model on hand, I used Dennis Bailey's excellent Phoenix as a stand-in. Will Starfleet Command never learn from past experience? ;-) Enjoy!

Yes, this sure brings back memories. I'm too young to have experienced the actual broadcasts but I've been a big fan of the original series for as long as I can remember. This image looks like a screencapture really, the grain effect really adds to that. My compliments!
