Description
This is my town shot. Altou this town is 2 hours drive away from where I live, the shot can be seen all over. All of the old traditional rainhouses are now protected but barbed wire and steel fences. People just don't appreciate history anymore. Europe is alot better for realising their landmarks. But I thought that this was just a shocking sight. The fencing ppl never got here quite in time as windows were already brocken and doors smashed. Barbed wire and two metres back an 8 foot steel fence. I shot thru the steel fence on sepia.

Thanx for viewing!

It's the future! The future is destroying the past... that's evolution! Should it be that way? Maybe not but it's the sad way!! Great photo!!!

Indeed, a pity to see how it's wired! And it looks so beautiful historical! Gorgeous work anyway! :)

this is super///make a bussinns card saying Artist at large or something and put the link to your gallery on renderosity... then go to city hall and talk to some one saying you like to photo that old building inside and out for history. They may go for it and you can take photos inside that lovely building.

what do you mean by "rainhouses"? Was this building used for residential housing?

Looking through your gallery (as I promised I would) I noticed you actually seem to have an eye for the architecturals, but do very few - I know they can be a little boring!
