Description

Okay. Since everybody is wondering what type of camera I'm using, I'll clarify. I'm holding the tiny little thing in my hand next to my face in the mirror. I did this so you could see exactly how small it really is. It is a Philips Keychain Digital Camera. It holds up to 120 shots at one time. Also works as a web cam and progressive film strip maker. Now, I only paid $15.00 for this thing at... Walmart! Santa spent all his money on my kids, so I'm not complaining about it. My photoshop program filters them all fairly well, and if you ask me, the pics. don't actually look that bad. Plugs into the computer and takes a AAA battery. That gets me about 400 shots before the battery is dead. Now that everyone knows, there it is. Now stop laughing at me and just enjoy the simple little pics. I do put out!!!! Love and hugs, Velvet.

Funny pic! I had the same type of cam but Santa didn't forget me. A great eye is the most important but when you'll have a better cam, you won't regret this one! Bravo!!!

momma, I think what you're able to send out to us.. is great as it is. Not everyone is able to afford the best equipment money can buy. Some (like me) have to make do with what they get their hands on. I love seeing your neck of the woods. It reminds me of home. Keep up the good work dear. We still love ya. ;)

I'll admit that I was a skeptic when I saw your beautiful pictures, but no more! John is right about getting the most out of simplicity. It's also nice to see the lovely woman behind the camera!

You are doing really great ... considering your equipment - and we all must start somewhere ! Your shots are great .. and this one will give you great practise for your next camera. But one huge advantage you have with this small one is .. you can bring it with you everywhere with out any trouble .. so you are right there at the right moment !!

I agree with Yesitis3 and Zoren... I was a photo major and only use Nikons 35mm FM series. but now cant aford new one after stuff go stolen so will try digital like you. As for your "The Camera..." you may have taken shot only to show cam but to me you've created something that is liken to the renaissance movement 14 - 17 century. Your reflection; Hair, facial structure, and your background all have a nice 15 century look and feel like in the paintings of the old world masters. Even your blouse though modern has works well due its color. Do more stuff like this. I always love to take pictures of modern places and see if I could make people think it was some place historic, or someplace like New York City in the winter and make people think it was the South America. This is more then an explantion picture you've taken; Its a work of art.
