Description

This stretches across the Wabash River in Logansport Indiana. Bridges have a certain mystique to me. There's an elegance in their iron. Maybe they hold some sort of symbolism. Anyway, I like them. :) I hope you can often see through the eyes of a child the awe and mystery of this wonderous universe, and may that vision stay with you all your days. Thanks for looking! Ken

excellent view and capture. when I was young I took part in most of the bridges in my home town on the new freeways at the time and railways as a draftsman at a steel company. the structure was quite impressive

Just follow the light at the end of the tunnel.... I love the way the bridge seems to frame the tree. The fog, the shine on the tracks, it's all fantastic. Well done dear.

Stunning!!! Fantastic composition and perspectivE!! that fog at the end of the bridge is really thick and the way you captured it gives it a wonderful eerie glow...kinda like a ghost train from the past is haunting the place!!! the fog in the entire scene was captured wonderfully! that house and tree off to the right and the mist rising up off the water...ooooh....very very pleasing! Very well done, Ken! BTW, i lived in Indiana most of my life. pretty sure i was in Logansport as a little girl but i don't remember. my husband and i live in louisville, ky. now. anyway dunno if you're from Indiana, but if you are, just wanted to say howdy neighbor! :)

That's an amazing photo, Ken. The muted tones make it look almost black and white at first glance. Stunning :)

I also love bridges and this pic is outstanding! You somehow captured the structure of the bridge in sharp detail even though the mist obscures the landscape beyond.

Stunning capture! I have a similar pic of a wooden railway bridge somewhere but the misty ambience and the cold steel in this picture create a powerful impact - very nice work!
