Description

Don't know why I did an image of a beautiful woman holding big guns. I guess I wish I had some kind of power to stop all the gun violence going on in the world, especially here in Toronto. It's been a totally crazy year with 77 murders and 52 of those by the gun. An innocent 15 y/o girl, out shopping with her parents, got shot in her head on Monday all because of stupidity. Young men didn't like how others were looking at them and decided to shoot it out in the street. People seem to always have the solutions but no one is coming forth to really resolve anything. Meanwhile, innocent people are getting killed. If you have any suggestions, let me hear it. Hopefully I can compile them and send it to our government representative or even the news. Thanks for viewing and comments are always welcome!! Stay blessed!! It's a very beautiful picture and i like those tattoos! About the guns? This only shows that "civilization" is just a word - in the middle ages we had people running around with big club and axes killing innocent peoples, now we have people running around with big guns killing innocent people - not so much change, don't you think? So sad... A solution? Maybe nuking the planet? Whoops! Don't pass this to the government!! They could take it seriously! ;)

Whoa this is VERY cool, I adore the tattoos, they really give this image a special "something." (hugs) I totally agree with the violence getting to be too much, it's been the same here in Boston, about 73 murders this year. :(

Sad to say, but it's like that everywhere and it just seems to keep getting worse! I live about 35 miles outside of L.A., and you hear that everyday on the news! Oh what ever happened to the good o'le days? Awesome pic by the way! Take care and be safe!...Dave.

I love your image... I like guns in images... I hate guns in reality... one solution may be to introduce zero tolerance... if you kill, you will be killed... or maybe just good old public stonings... I wish there was a solution that all human beings would accept... without all the "rights of the individual" crap! Love ya image! (V)

Thats so sad. In Australia we have some pretty tough gun laws after some bozo went balistic killing a stack of people. Not everyone agrees with them But I recon the less guns out there the better. Excellent image too!

Well Pat, in UK, police are not armed. That is, until there is an obvious need for a specially trained armed response team. It is the opinion of many policemen here, that if they carried arms, then the criminal fraternity would "tool up" themselves. Generally speaking, it would mean that any criminal act would be accompanied by firearms, carried by both police and criminal and although firearms are readily available in the underworld, most crimes are commited, without firearms in the equation. There does however seem to be a disturbing increase in crimes with weapons in London and there have already been some very sad needless killings of police officers. I suspect that whilst we have the law banning firearms, with immediate imprisonment, for anyone found in possesion of a lethal weapon, the presence of guns can be contained. I think England is a safer place, because of the strict anti gun laws and by removing the availability of guns in general, needless deaths and injuries, have been dramatically reduced. Sadly though, we also get shocking news on occasion, of an innocent bystander, being maimed, or even worse, killed during hostile fire. It is a sad indictment that there are such people, no matter where, who think nothing of pulling a trigger, with the full intention of causing death and serious injuries, by their actions. Gorgeous work Pat. Beautifully finished my friend. Steve :o)

Here in America we have the right to keep and bear arms or so it seems to those outside. In practical reality if you walk down the street with an unloaded weapon and the clips in your pocket to question a doorway where a person, who had just arrived from where you came from, was shot to death, the police would be called and they would disarm you even threatening you with violence if you had been observed by them directly. That is the reality check in a cold threat environment. In a hot threat environment--well, they would not show up until the weapon was fully discharged and secured--then they would charge you with a crime and demand forfeiture of the weapon. I have no further use for this approach.

Nice Image! I think there are two things you can do against gun violence or violence in general: 1st: ban all guns and the production of weapons. Thats not very likely to happen. 2nd: Create an environment and social philosophy where the use of guns and violence (physical or structural) are not necessary and a tabu. That would mean to reduce the main causes for violence: frustration, fear and greed. You can do that at the level of society by changing policies and you can start with yourself controlling your passions, desires and expectations.

Interesting character and outfit. It's a sad commentary though of the times we live in. It seems that gun violence is a major issue in every city in America too :(
