Description

Passion is born of fire and ascends into the world. She certainly has helped in keeping me interested in doing art. Other things too.;-) Study of lighting and focal lenght. Fairly long render of 30Hrs 20min on a 64bit 2.8Mb system. Some post of smoke, fire in hands, and touch-up. Hope you like it. Comments are always welcome. I dont exactly understand what could have made the render time so long, but i do know it is a damn fine image.Good work.

Great layout. My one suggestion would be a stronger bottom light that would naturally emanate from the fire below. Plus it would create a strong dramatic light.

Tried the stonger bottom light. It took out the texture on the arches and really didn't improve the lighting on the figure. The idea here is that she is rising from the fire and entering the light from the sun. So, I felt that there had to be a balance between the fire light and the sky light. - Bob

WOW!! I took it that some of the dark on her is smoke too...looks natural to me, and very dramatic! :)

Great fire effects - the atmosphere is fantastic (and I'm sure accounted for your render time). But it was worth it.
