Ah! Very nice!! Have you thought about adding just a little haze to add some volume to the pic? A floating kind of mist like haze would make it perfect.

What was it?,......nevermind I don't want to know,..but that's the question it raised in my mind.Just the hint of color near the blood is great ,...That's where the focus is, but the eye dances around this piece wonderfully!

Not much I can add to what's already been said here. But what knocks me out about your stuff is that, not only do you have a master touch with dark, sinister things, but you also excell at bright, cheerful things...like the boats at sunset, and that new flower.
