I'm a graphic designer from Finland who teaches using computers in designing, and whose favourite areas are vector graphics and typography and painting as well digitally as with traditional methods. - All said in one sentence...
I read a lot, I smoke a lot --- I'm not anymore young, beautiful and slim;-)BIOI graduated at Helsinki University some 20 years ago as M.A. - main subjects philosophy, aesthetics and Finnish language and Finnish literature. As a philosopher;-) I couldn't have a permanent job... I have been a teacher in many places; teaching both children and adults.
I am a self-made graphic designer and computer aided designing teacher. My very best interest lies - besides the pictures - on typography, in theory and in practise. I work as a free lancer.
I have the home page of my own - but unfortunately they are all in Finnish. But the adress is not a secret: www.valt.helsinki.fi/blogs/titta
All my studying materials are there - I teach quite a lot at Helsinki University.
Personal life: I live with my big black dog, Kirppu (in English "a flea") in Helsinki.

Oh, how beutiful, even if it is so sad. Love how you painted that little bird, singing so intensly despite being captured. His wings are so lovely made. Poor girl, she is crying for them both. Well, that was one of many possible interpretations-

I find this one highly anguishing. I can really feel the despair of the bird, caged for life! I hate to see birds in a cage. A dark image, sad and depressive but wonderfully painted as usual.

As is the case with everything that you do, there are so many elements in this that I am truly drawn to. Everything from the color and light, to the subject matter depicted... my eye is drawn all over this image. Wonderfully dark, yet hopeful nonetheless. I love it! Thank you for sharing this with us my friend.

too little too late... How it is I always manage to miss great works. This on is realy impressive. There's something sad on the outlook but also something easy and relaxing. Birds monologue and a carefull listener. Looks like a perfect conversation to me :)
