I love this image your friend has taken. These Oak trees that are found here in the South East are really cool to see. They get so large and the limbs spread out in all directions in this twisted mass. There's an Oak tree near Folly Beach, SC. They call it the 'Angel Oak' and they estimate it to be around 400 yrs. old. It's breath taking to see.
