I love creating surrealist type art using a variety of software (usually Bryce and DAZ Studio). If you are interested in learning more about Bryce I have some free tutorials online at http://brycebasics.blogspot.co.uk/p/tutorials.html.
I have continuously been inspired and delighted by the artwork produced here in the galleries. Please visit my Favourites to see some of these fabulous works.

Without knowing what you goal was with the lights, it's hard to help; especially since I don't see any problems with the lights here! The most serious problem I have with lights is that unless you turn shadows on, light will appear where it shouldn't: Nostrils, between fingers, in creases like the elbow and buttocks, underneath hair... but if you turn shadows ON, it dogs your machine! (Mine won't even open a scene if I save it with shadows on!) Normally, I choose where I want my shadows to fall, and put a spotlight (indoor scenes) or distant light (outdoor scenes) in the right place to do that. I make this one my brightest light, too--normally I set it from 50-80%, so it won't cause washed-out highlights. Then I set a distant light at 15% or so, coming from roughly the same direction as the camera--so that everything gets enough light to be visible. THEN I place spotlights on large areas that need more light or attention, and pointlights close to small objects and inside or directly in front of light sources in the scene, like lamps, flames and very bright reflections. I usually pay attention to my shadows, and only have one or two lights that create them. Point lights are not good for shadows, as you can see from http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1096672

Awesome pose and mood. Very well done! Cool eyeshadow and very cool hair! :) Light - the rose shadow on her face is maybe not that pretty. Try move that light much higher and more "back" - so the shadow doesnt hit her face... This would be more of a backlight - which would give more contour to her face and the rose... Or add a fill light - to brighten the shadow a little... Or both... :) Aother thing i would add is some more texture to the face... Great work!

I find very interesting the cut of the lips, the expression, the gesture of this beautiful char.

Exactly... I see no problems w/the lights here, either. That was my first thought when laying my eyes on this one ... look at the shadow of the rose ... it's perfect. keep up the good work.
