About me….hmmmmm... I’m Brandy.
I’m a lot of things…but, the important one’s are: wife, mother, Bebe, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and child of God. I also happen to be an artist.
Most of my artwork is fantasy and emotive type pieces, though I do throw in the odd pinup now and then for diversity’s sake. I live with my family in Central Arkansas, USA: my husband of 23 years, Ross ;our sons, Dylan 22 and Austin 20; my mother, and our beloved menagerie.
I’ve been lucky enough to have my art be featured on book covers, postcards, tattoos, and 3d art magazines and have won various awards and honors from my peers. Considering the talent of my peers, that is something I am very proud of.
Prints and merchandise featuring my work are available for purchase at DeviantArt and Etsy, Zazzle, Café Press and RedBubble. I’m usually available for commissions for Character, Fantasy and RPG portrait pieces, tattoo design, book covers, etc. My art is primarily 3D model renderings and is done with painting in photoshop, psp , etc. I also create unique handcrafted jewelry and accessories.

Besides fantasy art, my other passion is for collecting artwork featuring wildlife and American Indians. Being part Choctaw, and a passionate animal lover, both are things very dear to my heart.
I am also a passionate activist in a couple of areas. I have loved and felt a kinship with animals all my life and have rescued many…but, truly, they have each rescued me in return a 1000 times. I also advocate for the cause of Invisible Illness Awareness in general and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Dysautonomia awareness specifically. Both myself and my eldest have both, so it’s something very close to my heart that I am extremely passionate about…It’s one thing if something affects your life, but when it hurts your child, that’s another thing all together!
There you have it…me, in a nutshell. Thanks for reading my novella :P

Beautiful render!
dhneff
The lighting oni her chest and stomach as well as her shadow seems to come from directly in front. However, the light on her side and legs is coming in from her right and casting no shadow. Futhermore, the light on the tree (and the shadows of the leaves) is clearly coming from her left, but is not hitting her. The contortion of her right hand would be difficult to acheive as well as the twist in her left foot. Also, the balance of the spear would require that it be supported by her right hand, and yet the hand appears to be behind the spear, but not supporting it. Finally, her balance is off. All of her weight is on her right leg, but her entire body is shifted to the left. Those minor points aside, this is a fantastic render. I love the effect that you have given to the fire in the background and by using a hint of yellow in the lighting, you have given a cleaness to the render that is difficult to present. Of course, I would make none of these comments to the Defender of the Golden Glade as she would probably quickly regain her balance and run me through with that spear.

Great image! I agree that attention to some of the things that dhneff pointed out could make it spectacular, though. That said, I love her outfit, and the way her tone blends so wonderfully with the background. Keep it up!

Beautiful work!!!

Although I sympathize with the artist - it's hard to work Poser figures to hold anything, then light them into a background - agree with dhneff. Surely it couldn't have been too hard to pick up a broomstick, hold it across your shoulders, and look in a mirror to check posture and balance?

I agree also with the three who gave you the tips Brandy. This is truly an excellent image but the slight errors do detract from the pic.:)
