Description

We live in what is now referred to as the 'Tornado Belt'. This tree was left as a reminder of the wrath of nature. After I had taken the two smaller ones at the right, I realized that there was nothing that showed the actual size of the tree. My son is perched in the tree in the picture at the left. Now you know why they are referred to as 'Twisters'.

Tornado's are deadly sis and I can see what power they have by looking at this awesome photo...You never know anymore when mild storms are gonna turn into twisters like this:( An excellent collage and your son looks relaxed in that tree...:) Happy New Year sis may it be a good one for you Love Vote n hugs Susan~

Wow, that's a really big tree! Amazing what the power of nature can do, especially so selectively. Hope you have a great year here in 2006!

Thank God you are safe. Nature shows no mercy. We had a tornado in Connecticut in the late 1980's and it looked like a giant just pulled out the trees.Excellent shots.

What amazes me about this picture is that the much thinner trees nearby look unharmed .A fantastic but also a frightening shot ,because man is so small and helpless against the force of nature .

I used to live in a tornado belt too. My dad and I would sit out and watch them, mother nature is truly an amazing force and demands respect. Great shots! ~hug~

Incredible forse of nature ripping an old tree as this apart as if it was nothing but straws! Adding a person shows the size so well! Excellent collage, very impressive! :)
