Something I was working on using the Candleworks set from DAZ that my niece bought me for the holidays and it turns out to be fitting for the first contest of the new year at DSA entitled "Dark World" Seems to me there is always a guardian where the veil between worlds is at its weakest and this realm is no different. However if you win the battle here you have lost the fight for the portal opens and draws you in, in to the realm known only as the Dark World.
