If I hadn't seen the reference to CGI programs, I'd have sworn this was a photo of an unknown Gaudi creation or an exterior of the Whipslade Manor set from the film CASPER.

I always recognize Antonio Gaudi. It's hard to believe this isn't real.

Exceptional! This definitely deserves a VOTE! In my humble opinion, this is the kind of CG artwork that should get accolades. The architecture is beautiful, the modeling is absolutely gorgeous, textures are tremendous, lighting is perfect and the choice of camera angle is superb. I'd like to encourage everyone else who thinks other folks should view this, to vote, please. :o)

Finally I've found a fantastic looking image that isn't rendered using Vray or Brazil. Both of which I don't have. I used to blame my inhability to make photorealistic scenes on using scanline render, now I see it's really my lack of skill. I also love this image because it's REALLY similar to a place I've had dreams about. More renders of the scene from other P.O.Vs would be good.

A tremendous image! Makes me think of the kind of architecture the Elves of "Lord of the Rings" would have.
