Description

All modeled, textured and rendered in Bryce. Just added some noise in Photoshop. An attempt to achieve some realism and not my usual hunt for hidden messages or trying to be funny. This is what it is, no more or less. Anyway, I hope you like it. Feel free to add a comment!

Very realistic. It speaks of desolation...maybe a tower to keep prisoners. Well done.

Looks good some more details on the tower to draw your interest. Ex a wooden frame between the stones or a balcony around the top so archers can look out and fire down.

Good looking tower. Makes me wonder what it is doing sitting up on the rocks.

This does look excellent... the mood of the stormy clouds is great! This is pretty realistic for one of the early mott-and-bayly type of fortresses. Unlike the later castles with all the fancy doodads which were mainly just for show, these little towers were very functional for safety when under attack. I also did a castle model of Caernarvon from a kit when I was young and it had octagonal towers like that, just much larger and with flat tops.

Wonderful mood that you've set with that awesome sky.
