THIS WAS TKEN IN MAR/05 DURING ONE OF MY JAUNTS ACROSS THE STATES. I THINK GREEN RIVER, WY IS LOCATED BETWEEN LARAMIE AND CHEYENNE. THANKS FOR VIEWING AND COMMENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED.

Hi, the Green River drains much of southwestern Wyoming, two hundred miles or more west of Laramie. It flows under the UPRR tracks and I-80 near the town of Green River before cutting south through the Uinta Range. You've captured the essence of the minor buttes and w-i-d-e open spaces near the townsite. March is one tough month out there - believe the elevation is about 6000 ft. above sealevel near the town. --Dick
