Description

"Blind Narcissus" This is last remaining void ship..."Blind Narcissus". She carried us safe from the other end of time, before the passage was consumed. That was almost 700 years past, and "Blind Nariccus" is tired. Soon, only a matter of days we will farewell this noble ship. Sending her on the last journey, she will be naked to the stars but not alone. She will open the way to forever and plunge into oblivion. It's a fitting way for her to be laid to rest, and not be left to rot. The heart of the ship has grown unstable, it affects local spacetime in unpredictable ways. This is how she flew through the possibilities, keeping us safe. Now she threatens us. I don't know if she is sentient or not, but she does feel the ebbing control... She was the one that told us of the pain she felt, and what it meant. The old machines that think are all broken with age, and we can no longer fix them. So I've been chosen from the ten qualified pilots, by draw of lot. I will take the last jouney with her as her eyes. I'm sad, but it has to be done. You see, if she passes here, it would rip a hole in the what is... My name is "Trish". I'll never grow old with children, and may not be forgotten for what I am to do but it doesn't matter. All of the children born after I leave will be mine, and I will be grandmother to a world... I really like this piece, it inspired me to tell a story. Ok...the ship was made in Blender 3D using the "Disconbobulator" script. The "Antenna" on top of the Island, is the from the Bat Cave and the creator of it is unknown, so I say thanks to who ever made it. The mat for the island came from Watchful Eye. I used a piece from Mat Creators excellent constuction set freebe, for the base. For "Trish" I used "Vickie 3", V3s "Morphing Tunic", "Chiko Hair", and "Dazziling Gaze" for her eyes. "The Core" from DAZ by Stonemason aka Stefan Morrell was the last adition to the scene. I was in a little bit of a funk when I started this, but now I feel much better now :) Dream the world...;)

I like it too. Kinda reminds me of the ST:TNG episode "Tin Man" in which a betazed empath is the key to helping a living starship regain its sanity and life amongst the stars.

Very evocative image indeed for a truly beautiful story! :)) The image reminds me of the traditional photos of pilots posing in front of their planes as you see in war movies - pretty cool! As for the story, it would make a wonderful novel and movie. You're a fantastic storyteller, Mark! :))
