Thought I would change up from the frog pics today. These bugs are called crane flies, they kind of look like big mosquitos but are harmless. Thank you for all of your much appreciated comments and have a great day!

yes they are harmless but if one lands on your face while you are asleep, you may go beating your face trying to get rid of the tickling!! I really do not care for them. they always want to come inside , just waiting at doors to open. excellent macro Wendy

EEK!!! Sorry, first instinct is to swash it. Harmless huh? Never knew that! Guess with the West Nile Virus going around... I haven't been taking the time to see if the buzzing bug around me is harmless or not. Seems I need to be more aware now.
