BIOI am a Florida native, I grew up in a Mayo, Florida on a tobacco, chicken and watermelon farm. I am 32 and currently enrolled at the University of South Florida, studying to become an Industrial Engineer. My great-great grandfather was one of the first photographers in Florida. I use a Canon 40D and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30. I enjoy nature photography and macro photography.

yes they are harmless but if one lands on your face while you are asleep, you may go beating your face trying to get rid of the tickling!! I really do not care for them. they always want to come inside , just waiting at doors to open. excellent macro Wendy

EEK!!! Sorry, first instinct is to swash it. Harmless huh? Never knew that! Guess with the West Nile Virus going around... I haven't been taking the time to see if the buzzing bug around me is harmless or not. Seems I need to be more aware now.
