Description

With the help of the procedural terrains tutorial from Concucopia, this is my first attempt at a landscape. So, primarily a technical exercise, rather than an attempt to produce art :) The landscape element is a procedural two element terrain and single procedural material, with an initial four layers. As usual any comments and, particularly, critique are welcome. Rendered in Vue 5i, with image preparation and some unsharp mask in PSP 8. I know it's a bit late, but a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all ... Mike

Superb atmosphere... I think the waves are ok... but the boat wants to be a big bigger to me relative to the adjacent tress... damn goos though! (V)

Hi Mike. Your first attempt is a full success, particularly the foreground terrain and hie texturing. May be the trees repartition and growing could be better, but it's just a small detail.Very peacefull scene we all dream in our crazy style of modern life. Bravo!!!
